Terms of use

Last updated 18 October 2026 · Applies to the AXO Player apps, axoplayer.com and the device, reseller and payment portals.

In short. AXO Player is a media player, like a web browser is for websites. It plays playlists you add yourself. We do not supply, sell, host or recommend any channels or content, and we cannot see what you watch. You are responsible for having the right to view what you add. Try it free for seven days; after that a licence is per TV and all sales are final. Use it for infringing content and the licence ends.

1. What AXO Player is

AXO Player ("AXO", "the app", "we") is software that plays video and audio from playlist links in M3U, M3U8 and Xtream Codes format that the user enters. The app ships without any playlist, channel, film, series or link to content. The company behind AXO Player is named in section 16.

By installing the app, opening the portal or paying for a licence, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Allowed use

AXO Player is made for playing content you are entitled to watch. Typical lawful uses include:

3. Not allowed

4. Your content, your responsibility

You alone choose which playlists to add. You are responsible for the lawfulness of that content in your country and for your agreement with the party that gave you the link. We have no agreement with, control over, or knowledge of any content provider, and we cannot help with channel lists, missing channels, buffering caused by a provider, or provider payments.

We do not inspect, store or index the channels and titles inside your playlist. The server checks only whether a link answers and whether it returns a valid playlist, to keep the backup-line function working.

Rights holders who believe a specific link in use infringes their rights can write to the address in section 16. We respond to properly substantiated notices and may block the devices concerned.

5. Licence and devices

6. Trial, prices and payment

7. Refunds

Because of the free trial, all sales are final. We do not refund for a playlist that stops working, a provider that disappears, a TV that is replaced, internet problems, or a change of mind. We do refund, or re-activate at our choice, if the app is not delivered as described: for example a payment confirmed on the chain that did not unlock the TV within 24 hours. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

8. Backup lines and subtitles

The backup-line function tests your playlist links from our server and switches the app between them. It reduces interruptions; it cannot guarantee uninterrupted playback, because the lines themselves are not ours.

Subtitles are fetched from third-party databases and shown only when they pass our matching checks. We do not create or edit subtitles and are not responsible for their content or accuracy. Viewer feedback on subtitles is stored anonymously per title to improve matching for other viewers.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end a licence or account, without refund, when it is used against section 3 or 4, when a payment is reversed or fraudulent, when a device is linked to abuse of our systems, or when a reseller account that activated it is terminated for the same reasons. You may stop using the app at any time; licences are not refunded on cancellation.

10. No warranty

The app and the portals are provided as they are and as available. We do not promise that they are free of errors, that every stream format will play on every TV, that a store will keep the app listed, or that third-party services such as subtitle databases or block explorers will stay available. We fix what we can and publish updates regularly.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the licence concerned in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, loss of profit or loss of enjoyment, nor for anything caused by content providers, stores, internet access or your own equipment. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced in the app or portal at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the new terms.

13. Law and disputes

The laws of the Cayman Islands apply, and the courts of the Cayman Islands have jurisdiction. Consumers keep any protection of the mandatory rules of their own country that cannot be excluded by agreement.

14. Reseller terms

These additional terms apply to anyone with a reseller account.

15. Privacy

We keep data to a minimum because the app does not need much.

What we store

What we do not do

Third parties

Subtitle searches are sent to OpenSubtitles with the title, year and a file hash, never your MAC. Bitcoin addresses are checked against a block explorer; we recommend you use a wallet that does not reuse addresses. Our servers are in Europe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold on a MAC address or reseller account, have it corrected or deleted, or object to processing. Deleting a device's data ends its licence. Write to the address below; we answer within 30 days. Data is kept while a licence is active and for 12 months after it ends, then deleted. Legal and accounting records are kept for the period the law requires.

16. Contact

Support and legal notices: [email protected]. Resellers use the ticket desk in their dashboard. Rights-holder notices should state the specific URL concerned, the work it allegedly infringes and the sender's authority; we do not act on anonymous or generic notices.
